His past is hidden, with my own respect for him I won’t private about it. I feel uneasy when people ask me about my own, I do not wish them to see me for what I was, what I was training to be. What if he has the same. He gave hints to time as a soldier, that I can respect. War is not easy or beautiful in any means why would one wish to talk about the horrors seen in it or even laid down at their own hands.
I wish however I could have more time with him alone. To simply talk, enjoy life, to get lost with and forget about all my demons leering in the back of my thoughts. From the start, his smile has let me feel safe and words have made me nervous, not an in a bad way at all.
All an outsider wants is to be included. Since I met Xylaes, him and most of those he calls friends have been wonderful at that. He has this ability to pull different shards of lost or broken souls and form shining stars that work beautifully together. It is good to have a friend like him, I might have never found a tiny spot in this giant new world if it wasn’t for him.
